The opening of the exhibition was attended by the head of the city, Emilia Leonova, and the head of the administration of Yevpatoria, Elena Demidova.

Each participant in the project has her own story. In the eyes of each there is a storm of emotions and feelings: pride, hope, pain. Each is a strong and brave woman worthy of her Protector“a,” the press service of the Evpatoria administration quotes Elena Demidova.

The organizer of the exhibition is a small team of proactive people, consisting of 4 people: the chairman of the permanent working group on family issues at the Public Council of Simferopol Alena Labunets, a member of this working group Anna Mikhailovskaya, photographer Daria Morozova and makeup artist Alena Oganesyan.

The photo project is being implemented on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, together with the Ministry of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Crimea in order to popularize the principles of patriotic education and love for one’s Motherland. Residents of Simferopol, Bakhchisarai, Nizhnegorsky district, Yalta, Feodosia and Kerch have already seen it.

Yevpatoriya residents will be able to visit the exhibition until December 4.

After the event, Emilia Leonova and Elena Demidova held a meeting with the relatives of the SVO participants in a round table format, answered their questions and listened to the wishes of the women.

REFERENCE. The first photo exhibition “Wives of Heroes” was held in September 2022 in Samara and received a positive assessment from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. In a short period of time, the exhibition grew into a federal project.
