A play about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War was presented in Simferopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

At the end of April, with the support of the deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Youth Policy Sergei Dodonov and the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea, the premiere of the play of the theater-studio “Without Borders” “Rails, Rails” took place in the Marble Hall of the Central Library of Crimea , sleepers, sleepers…»

The actors told the audience about the underground group of railway worker Viktor Efremov (call sign “Hren”), whose Jewish wife was shot by the Nazis. About how he and his comrades joined the ranks of the underground organization of geography teacher Alexandra Voloshinova (call sign “Musya”) and with the group committed 22 acts of sabotage on the railway, blowing up enemy trains. These heroes were handed over to the Nazis by traitors, and after brutal torture, the underground members were executed.

In Crimea alone there were more than a hundred concentration camps in which hundreds of thousands of prisoners were exterminated.

Theater-studio “Without Borders” is an amateur theater that has existed for 10 years, and they show all performances for free!

Can non-professional actors reliably convey the tragedy of the occupation times? They can! Under the leadership of the Stage Director, Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Alexei Kubin, the actors, who literally live for the art of theater, played very authentically and emotionally, this is eloquently evidenced by the reaction of the audience, who gave a standing ovation to the soul-stirring performance.

The head of the theater-studio “Without Borders” Dmitry Kuchmiy, thanks to whom children with disabilities can play on stage the way professional actors do, is the chairman of the Association of Disabled Persons and Public Organizations of Disabled People of the Republic of Crimea.

The script, in which Dmitry Kuchmiy helped, was written by Alexey Kubin based on Ivan Kozlov’s book “In the Crimean Underground,” but the idea belongs entirely to Dmitry, because this story personally affected his family — he is the grandson of Lyudmila Terentyeva, whose pregnant woman’s finger was cut off during interrogation. Some information was obtained from the archives by Natalya Nikolaevna Kuchinskaya from the Franco library:

Of course, many things were invented by me personally. For example, the scene of the first kiss of Efremov and Terentyeva in front of the Gestapo. But it was simply impossible to make the story of real people any other way. Everywhere there were only dry facts about their activities,” the director shared, “this performance is very valuable to me for two reasons. First, I am not only the director in this performance. We wrote the play ourselves and did a lot of research. Secondly, I went on stage for the first time with my guys — my favorite artists (I played a Siguran officer). I thank Dmitry Kuchmiya for infecting me with the idea of making a play about these great people, completely introducing me to all the historical intricacies of the Crimean underground. Production designer Daria Ilyinskaya — for creating such a necessary, gloomy atmosphere and unusual approach. And my artists: Varya Karpach, Nikita Osadcheva, Evgenia Tolkacheva, Yarik Tolkacheva, Lisa Tolkacheva, Natalia Galich, Mikaela Velasovskaya, Andrei Guk, Ilya Yasinsky, Kolya Shabanov, Ekaterina Grubaya-Svetskaya, Elizaveta Stakhova, Polina Kovaleva, Maxim Lagutin, Mikhail Elchanin for your talent, responsibility and caring attitude towards your characters — real people. Love you! You are best!

Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Vitalievich Bobkov after the performance in the library named after. AND I. Franco said that he wanted to get to know each of those who brought to life what, in his opinion, was almost impossible to bring to life:

The theme that the actors reveal is complex not because it is difficult to play, it is complex because it is very difficult to play authentically. It is very difficult to move to a quality where historical authenticity is not left out, and at the same time there will be what we love theater and cinema for. I’m absolutely sure you did it! I kept an eye on the details. I followed the words as you talked about the history surrounding the extermination of the Jews and the role of those who unfortunately helped the Nazis exterminate them. I kept track of the surnames, because in my family, thank God, there is still someone alive who remembers Brier when he was still alive, remembers Brier’s widow. Dear colleagues, I am sincerely grateful to you for giving me personally and everyone present here this pleasure. And for my part, I would like to invite you to what I have been doing for two years, about 20 times a year, I conduct excursions at the “Red” memorial. Efremov was shot in Dubki. Those who were held in Krasnoye were also shot in Dubki. I will tell you about the place through which many of those who did not end up in your production passed, but also fought for their homeland. Thank you very much!
