A “pravosek” participant in the transport blockade of Crimea was detained in the Kherson region

Investigators and employees of the FSB Directorate for the Kherson region detained a resident of Kakhovka and charged him with participation in the activities of an extremist organization. According to investigators, the man was a member of the Right Sector (an organization recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation). About it reported in the regional department of the FSB.

A 41-year-old resident of the city of Kakhovka, Kherson region, was detained. He has been charged. According to the investigation, since June 2014, the accused took part in the movement of the Ukrainian organization “Right Sector”, whose activities are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation. Thus, from June to December 2014, the defendant underwent training in this organization to prepare for participation in hostilities against the interests of Russiathe message says.

In addition, according to the department, the accused went to rallies in the cities of the Kherson region, where he called for joining the “Right Sector” (an organization recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), and participated in blocking the passage of vehicles supplying consumer goods to the Republic of Crimea.

Continuing to live in the Kherson region, the accused has not taken any actions aimed at terminating his membership in the banned organization until now. Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the crime committednoted the FSB.

The case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an extremist organization).
