A program has been launched to create a set of projects for landscaping and landscaping the territory of the art cluster “Tavrida.ART”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A set of projects for landscaping and landscaping the territory of the art cluster will be created at the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries from October 23 to October 29, 2023 in Sudak as part of the Green Resort: integrated development of the architectural and landscape environment of the coastal area. The program was developed jointly with the Roszapovedtsentr of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources.
Young specialists — landscape designers, architects, designers, dendrologists, botanists, agronomists, soil scientists, ecologists, agricultural engineers — will be able to apply their professional skills and offer their own options for resort landscape design with a detailed study of individual areas, taking into account the existing landscaping and infrastructure and features of the territory.
The educational program of the art cluster “Tavrida.ART” is relevant and promising for future young professionals in the field of architecture, ecology and design. This is a unique opportunity for young people to apply and develop their skills, exchange knowledge, gain experience, and also meet professionals from different fields of activity, — the press service of the head of the Roszapovedtsentr of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia quotes Daria Matsuk.
The project for landscaping the territory of the art cluster is one of the most important aspects of arranging a site with multidisciplinary educational and cultural programs.
Each team will be assigned to a separate section of the projected territory. At the start of the program, participants will learn about climatic features and soil composition, the features of landscape design and construction in various regions of Crimea, as well as the specifics of the dendrological assortment in Crimea, taking into account regional diversity.
Together with experts, non-stop, participants will have to propose projects for creating a garden in a regular layout, landscaping an eco-village and the area along the road of the Tavrida art cluster, developing projects for vertical and interior landscaping of buildings, as well as proposing concepts for a greenhouse complex and a series of modular flowerpots .
Participants in the Green Resort program have an important task: to propose a series of projects for landscaping and landscaping the territory of the Tavrida art cluster, which are planned for implementation in 2024. We have previously worked with landscape designers and architects, but this is the first time we will work with ecologists, dendrologists and agronomists, which we are very happy about. Participants will be assisted in their work by curators and expert consultants who know exactly all aspects of the nature of Crimea, because the initial data of the sites are quite specific: complex terrain, clay soil with a high salt content, strong winds and much more; not all plants take root even with an irrigation system . For us, this program is not only a challenge, but also an excellent opportunity, together with the children, to make every effort to ensure that the tourist and educational cluster becomes a real point of attraction on the southern coast of Crimea“,” notes Victoria Danilova, project manager and producer of the fashion, architecture and design areas of the Tavrida art cluster.
The pool of experts and curators of directions included representatives of leading organizations in the field of construction, design, ecology and science: Russian development company Brusnika, Botanical Garden named after. N. V. Bagrova, Crimean Federal University. V. I. Vernadsky, architectural bureau IND, Bureau «Create», Academy of Architecture and Arts of the Southern Federal University, Architectural and design bureau «OSNOVA», landscape and construction company EcoToon, Landscape and construction company IMPERIAL GARDEN, developer MORE YALYA.development, architecture studio and design «TCHK», Roszapovedtsentr of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, Federal State Budgetary Institution «Kenozersky National Park», Federal State Budgetary Institution «Khakassky Nature Reserve», Federal State Budgetary Institution «Kislovodsky National Park», Federal State Budgetary Institution «Reserved Crimea», ATI RUDN.
In 7 days, teams will receive up-to-date information in the field of landscape design from practicing experts, applied knowledge on the development of landscaping projects in the southern region. A large-scale event of the program will be the Green Festival, which will take place on October 28 in Kapsel Bay near Sudak and will bring together everyone who wants to contribute to the formation of new forest plantations in Crimea. Participants in the program, together with festival guests, will be able to plant plants with their own hands, so that in the end more than 1,000 trees and perennial shrubs will become part of the new ecosystem of the bay.
On the last day of the program, the teams will defend their projects in front of experts. The best participants will be able to join the Tavrida.ART team for further project support.
The Meganom Academy of Creative Industries is a new concept of an educational environment for young representatives of culture, art and creative industries, which has become the core of the Tavrida art cluster (a project of Rosmolodezh). The year-round educational center allows young professionals to gain knowledge under the supervision of recognized leaders in the field and take part in interactive projects prepared in collaboration with leading institutions and corporate partners.
