A quantorian from Sevastopol became a finalist in the All-Russian Olympiad “Technologies of Success”
Maria Shuda took part in the event as part of the “Entertainers with a Surprise” team Moscow-Sevastopol. The final of the All-Russian Olympiad “Technologies of Success” was held in Perm as part of the All-Russian Big Olympiad “Art — Technology — Sports”.
The Quantorian team participated in the age category of 7-11 years, the track “Conveyor Belt”. The guys created a conveyor belt, onto which the gazelle body arrives after painting, and then the body moves to a rotating platform for further drying. The team did an excellent job and won silver in the “Production of the Future” category.
Maria went to Perm with her mentor, teacher at the Quantorium children’s technology park Nadezhda Shuda.
Before our trip to Perm, we talked with a mentor from Moscow about the design of a conveyor belt and discussed how to make it as convenient as possible with a small number of parts. The children programmed and assembled it themselves on the track. Mentors were not allowed there, — shared Hope.
While the children created their project, the adults completed the educational program “Projects and Activities to Involve Children in Research and Engineering Activities.”
