A random guest stabbed the hospitable hostess with a knife. Case in the Razdolnensky district of Crimea

The Razdolnensky District Court issued a verdict in a criminal case against a local resident. Based on the evidence presented by the prosecutor’s office, he was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 139 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the inviolability of the home) clause “z”, part 2 of art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm).

It was established that the defendant illegally entered the victim’s house in November 2023, after which he went to sleep in her home. While intoxicated, during a quarrel with the owner of the house, he grabbed a knife from the kitchen table and struck no more than 5 times, after which he disappeared— reported the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Crimea.

The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, imposed a final sentence on the resident of the region in the form of 3 years and 1 month of imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
