A religious procession with the icon of the holy righteous warrior Theodore Ushakov took place in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On October 15 — the day of remembrance of the holy righteous warrior Theodore Ushakov — after a thanksgiving service in the Prince Vladimir Cathedral-tomb of the admirals, a religious procession took place with the icon of St. Feodora Ushakova, who miraculously survived a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet on September 22.
The procession was attended by the clergy of Sevastopol, led by the assistant to the dean of the Sevastopol district, Archpriest Stefan Slomchinsky, the leadership of the city and fleet, Black Sea sailors, parishioners of Sevastopol churches, and numerous guests.
The religious procession proceeded to the Count’s pier. Here the icon was transferred to a boat, after which the naval procession proceeded along the bay of Sevastopol along the ships of the Black Sea Fleet.
