A resident of a neighboring region was detained in Kerch on suspicion of robbery — he attacked a store buyer with a knife

In the attendant part of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Kerch, a message was received from the doctor of the city hospital that a 42-year-old man with stab wounds had been delivered to them.
The victim told the police that at night he left the store and an unknown person attacked him with a knife and took the bag with purchases. During the operational-search measures, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kerch found that a 33-year-old resident of a neighboring region previously convicted of a serious crime was involved in robbery. The suspect admitted his guilt and explained that he saw a man who was walking from a store with a bag in which there was alcohol and decided to rob him. When the victim began to resist, the suspect took out the knife and hit the man three times, after which he took the bag and disappeared from the scene of the crime. Then he drank stolen vodka and threw out empty bottles,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea.
The investigative department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kerch has been instituted a criminal case under part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code (robbery). The sanction of the article provides for a punishment of imprisonment for up to ten years with a fine of up to one million rubles.
The defendant of the criminal case was chosen by a preventive measure in the form of detention.
