A court in Simferopol sentenced a resident of Bryansk to 12.5 years in prison, who organized a criminal community to conduct gambling in which residents of Crimea lost more than 15 million rubles, the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea told reporters.
A resident of Bryansk, the organizer and leader of a criminal community that carried out gambling, was convicted in Simferopol. The income received by the above criminal community amounted to more than 15 million rubles. The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the woman to 12 years and 6 months of imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony, — TASS quotes the message.
In 2015, a woman organized and led a criminal community. For two years, halls with slot machines operated under her leadership in Simferopol, Feodosia, Yalta, Kerch, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoy, and Yevpatoria.
