A resident of Feodosia committed an official forgery — she will go to corrective labor

The Feodosiya city court announced the verdict to a local resident for committing forgery by entering into official documents deliberately false information out of a different personal interest.

According to the circumstances established by the court, the defendant, being a communal enterprise of a housing maintenance office, whose duties, according to the director’s order, included monitoring the behavior at the workplace of convicts serving a sentence in the form of compulsory, corrective labor, as well as conducting educational work with them, in April 2022, being in her office, the defendant, knowing that the convicts actually did not appear for working out at MUP «ZHEK», did not comply with the court decision, did not work out compulsory work, issued fictitious orders on behalf of the director on briefing and fixing convicted for the time of execution of punishment for herself, after which she signed the time sheet, giving the forged document its official significance of the execution of punishment, while the indicated information was false, and then provided the bailiff-executor with false documents on the completion of compulsory work by convicts— noted in the press service of the court.

At the hearing, the defendant fully admitted her guilt in the deed. The deed was qualified by the court under Part 1 of Art. 292 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — official forgery, that is, the introduction by an official of knowingly false information into official documents, if these acts were committed out of a different personal interest (in the absence of signs of a crime under Part 1 of Article 292.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

When sentencing, the court took into account the identity of the defendant, which is characterized positively at the place of residence, has no previous convictions; the presence of mitigating circumstances (admission of guilt, active contribution to the disclosure and investigation of the crime, the state of health of the spouse of the defendant), circumstances aggravating the punishment, the court did not establish. The court appointed the defendant, taking into account the circumstances of the case, a punishment in the form of 3 (three) months of corrective labor with deduction of 5% of wages to the state.

The verdict has not entered into force.
