A resident of Feodosia received social benefits for a child who… did not exist
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Feodosia, a woman was convicted for applying for social benefits for a non-existent child.
The court found that the defendant, from January 2021 to November 2023, provided the social and pension security authorities with documents containing deliberately false information regarding the birth of her child in 2021. Based on forged documents, the woman illegally received more than 237 thousand rubles; the woman partially compensated for the damage caused. The illegal actions of the convict were identified and suppressed by police officers— said the prosecutor’s office.
The criminal case against the person who produced the forged document has been separated into separate proceedings, and the investigation continues. The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the perpetrator to 2 years of suspended imprisonment, with a probationary period for a similar period.
