A resident of Feodosia, who was engaged in the illegal sale of other people's cars, «earned» 5 years in prison

The prosecutor’s office of Feodosia supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a local resident. He was found guilty of committing crimes under Part 3 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (embezzlement committed on a large scale), part. 2, 3 art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed with the infliction of significant and major damage).

It was established that the convict, previously convicted of fraud, while working in various car sharing companies, appropriated the funds transferred to him for making car purchase and sale transactions. In addition, he stole money from the sale of cars, which he allegedly took for repair and use. In total, in this way he caused damage to the victims in the amount of 3 million rubles.the prosecutor’s office said.

Agreeing with the opinion of the public prosecutor, the court sentenced the guilty person to 5 years in prison with serving in a penal colony with a strict regime.
