In Kerch, the court issued a verdict in a criminal case against a 32-year-old local resident. She was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person subject to administrative punishment).
The court found that the defendant, while intoxicated, got behind the wheel of a personal KIA Serato car and drove around the city. On one of the streets, the girl was stopped by traffic police officers and removed from driving. She refused to comply with the inspector’s legal requirement to undergo a medical examination, and a protocol was drawn up.
In September 2022, the attacker was already brought to administrative responsibility, she was deprived of the right to drive transport and fined 30 thousand rubles,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.
The punishment is severe. Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the Kerch City Court sentenced the perpetrator to 80 hours of compulsory labor with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for 2 years. The KIA Serato car was confiscated to the state. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
