The duty station of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kerch received a message from a local resident that in one of the city’s districts a man was lying on the ground between containers without signs of life.
Subsequently, a forensic examination established that the cause of death was mechanical asphyxia — strangulation. As a result of operational search activities, the 56-year-old wife of the deceased was detained on suspicion of committing a crime. It was previously established that there was a domestic quarrel between the spouses, after which the woman, waiting until her husband fell asleep, wrapped a scarf around his neck and began to choke him. When the man stopped breathing, she took the corpse outside. Currently, a preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen against the suspect.— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
The materials collected by the operatives were transferred to the investigative authorities.
