A resident of Krasnoperekopsk was sent to prison for purchasing and storing narcotic drugs.

The Krasnoperekopsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea brought to criminal responsibility a previously convicted 30-year-old resident of the city of Krasnoperekopsk for illegal acquisition and storage without the purpose of selling narcotic drugs in a significant amount (Part 1 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
On June 2, 2023, in the morning, a 30-year-old resident of the city of Krasnoperekopsk, being a person who allows non-medical consumption of narcotic drugs of synthetic origin, while being near the North Crimean Canal, located behind the microdistrict 10 of Krasnoperekopsk, discovered a polymer bag with a groove lock and a red stripe, with powdery a beige-colored substance, realizing that inside the bag he found there was a narcotic drug “salt”, for the purpose of its further use, without the purpose of sale, he wrapped it in foil and placed it in a cardboard box of “2222” brand cigarettes, which he had with him. placed it in the left outer pocket of his pants. During a personal search of this citizen, police officers found in the left outer pocket of his pants a cardboard box of cigarettes brand “2222”, inside of which there was a foil package containing a polymer bag with a groove lock and a red stripe, with a beige powdery substancenoted the press service of the court.
According to the expert’s conclusion, the substance submitted for examination contains a narcotic drug.
At the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted his guilt in committing the crime charged against him and repented of his crime.
Taking into account mitigating and the absence of aggravating circumstances, negative characteristics, according to the totality of sentences, the defendant was sentenced to two years and ten months of imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony.
The verdict did not enter into legal force.
