A resident of Sevastopol discredited the Russian Armed Forces on social networks. Now he's apologizing

Employees of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, together with colleagues from the regional department of the FSB, while monitoring the virtual space, drew attention to the comments of one of the users on the Internet publication.
The commentator’s statements were aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. During operational search activities, law enforcement officers established the identity of the author. He turned out to be a 20-year-old local resident who confessed to the offense and repented.
An administrative protocol has been drawn up against the young man under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintain peace and security, or the exercise by government bodies of the Russian Federation of their powers for these purposes— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of 30 to 50 thousand rubles. The materials collected by the police will be submitted to the court for consideration on the merits.
