A resident of Sevastopol lost his car due to the debts of the former owner of the vehicle

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A resident of Sevastopol has accumulated debts on tax and loan payments totaling 3.8 million rubles. At the same time, he came to the conclusion that he could not and would not repay the existing debt.

The court decision, as well as the enforcement proceedings initiated against him in the department of bailiffs in the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol by the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, did not help him change his behavior. In this connection, employees of the Main Directorate applied enforcement measures against citizen Z., namely: they seized his bank accounts, imposed a ban on registration activities with his car, and temporarily restricted the debtor’s right to travel outside Russia. However, citizen Z. did not pay attention to the actions of the bailiff and carried out a transaction to sell the car. The new owner was citizen Ya., who bought the vehicle from the debtor and did not reissue the necessary documents,” noted the press service of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

Subsequently, citizen Ya. regretted his rash decision. Thus, during a joint raid with traffic police officers, employees of the bailiff department for the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol identified a vehicle that was under restrictions, and at that moment it was traveling as part of a wedding cortege, and drew up a report on it an inventory of the arrest and seized the car from citizen Ya., informing the latter that the seized property would be transferred for evaluation and further sale to pay off existing debts. In turn, citizen Y. explained that he does not have the required amount and does not intend to repay citizen Z.’s debt.
