A resident of Sevastopol was severely punished for perversion and crimes of a sexual nature

A resident of Sevastopol was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime colony for committing sexual crimes against his minor daughter.
The evidence collected by the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol was recognized by the court as sufficient to convict a 45-year-old resident of the Nakhimovsky district of the city of Sevastopol. He was found guilty of rape and other acts of a sexual nature against a person under the age of 14 (paragraph “b” part 4 of article 131, paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Investigation Department for the Nakhimovsky District and the court established that from December 2021 to March 2022, a man, in the absence of his wife, while intoxicated, committed sexual crimes against his 13-year-old daughter. After a while, the teachers of the school noticed the depressed psychological state of the teenager, in the course of confidential conversations they managed to get information from the girl that she was being sexually abused by her father at home. The information was passed on to law enforcement— told the Investigative Committee.
Investigators, in cooperation with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, the involvement of a man in committing violent crimes against a minor daughter was established. At the request of the investigator, he was taken into custody by the court. A sufficient evidence base has been collected, the necessary examinations have been carried out.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the public prosecutor of the district prosecutor’s office, sentenced the accused to 13 years’ imprisonment in a strict regime correctional colony. Also, a man is deprived of the right to engage in activities related to work with minors for a period of 12 years with a further restriction of freedom for 1.5 years.
