A resident of Sevastopol will have to pay a fine of 40 thousand rubles for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces

The employees of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol together with colleagues from the Office of the FSB of Russia in the Southern Military District revealed publication in one of the chats, the content of which discredited the armed forces of the Russian Federation and undermined the authority of state authorities.
As a result of the measures taken, operatives established the identity of the author of the post. It turned out to be a 43-year-old employee of one of the city construction organizations. The offender was detained with the support of OMON «Berkut-S» of the Office of the Russian Guard in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
In relation to the detainee, the police drawn up a protocol on an administrative offense provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
By the decision of the Leninsky District Court, the man was sentenced to an administrative fine of 40 thousand rubles.
