A resident of Simferopol, Pelageya Fedorovna Cheretaeva, turned 100 years old.

The head of the administration of the Crimean capital, Mikhail Afanasyev, congratulated Cheretaeva Pelageya Fedorovna on her anniversary. The head of the department of labor and social protection of the population of the city administration, Diana Feratova, also joined in the congratulations. Representatives of the administration congratulated Pelageya Fedorovna on her anniversary and thanked her for her feat of work.
The head of the administration also presented her with a commemorative medal commemorating the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Simferopol from the Nazi invaders.

Cheretaeva Pelageya Fedorovna was born on April 8, 1924 in the village of Verkhniy Shibryay, Uvarovsky district, Tambov region into a large peasant family. In 1941, she graduated from a rural school and entered the Faculty of Geography at the Tambov Pedagogical Institute. After completing her second year, Pelageya Fedorovna switched to distance learning and worked as a geography and history teacher in a district school. In 1971, Pelageya Fedorovna and her family moved to Crimea. She worked as an economist, senior economist at enterprises in Simferopol. In 1989 she retired. During her career, Pelageya Fedorovna was repeatedly awarded certificates of honor, gratitude and cash bonuses.
