A resident of Simferopol was found guilty of fictitiously registering 22 foreigners for migration registration.

The prosecutor’s office of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Simferopol supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a local resident. He was found guilty of committing a crime under Art. 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fictitious registration of a foreign citizen at the place of stay in the Russian Federation).
The court found that in August last year the man provided the local department of the internal affairs body with notifications of the arrival of foreign citizens certified by his signature, indicating the place of registration at the address where he was registered. Thus, the attacker fictitiously registered 22 citizens of Uzbekistan at their place of registration. The man received 33 thousand rubles for his illegal actions,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.
The court sentenced the man to a fine. The verdict did not enter into legal force. The prosecutor’s office is taking measures to recover from the convicted person the money received for the illegal registration of foreigners.
