He is charged under Part 1 of Art. 137 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of privacy), paragraph “b”, part 3 of Art. 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (distribution of pornographic materials using the Internet).
According to investigators, in February of this year, the accused discovered intimate photographs of her hidden from public access on one of the social networks on the page of his friend. The man saved the photo data and later distributed it to an unlimited number of people on a social network on the victim’s page— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The man admitted his guilt in full. With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol for consideration on the merits. Punishment? The range is quite wide and “didactic”: from a large fine to 2 years in prison.
