A resident of the Bakhchisarai district was caught in a fraud when selling a plot of land
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Bakhchisarai district prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 39-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud).
The court found that in 2009 the man sold a plot of land in the village of Kholmovka, Bakhchisarai district, receiving money for it.
Despite this, in 2021, the convict received an archival copy of the state act for the specified land plot dated 2008, after which he provided it to officials of the State Committee for State Registration and Cadastre of the Republic of Crimea to register his ownership of the specified land plot. Thus, the man took possession of a land plot worth 1.1 million rubles, which he later sold again,” the Crimean prosecutor’s office gave details.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the perpetrator to 3 years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 2 years. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
