A resident of the Bakhchisaray district was convicted of driving while intoxicated
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Bakhchisaray district prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a local resident. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person brought to administrative responsibility for a similar act).
The court found that the convict, having been brought to administrative responsibility for driving a vehicle while intoxicated, did not draw the appropriate conclusions for himself and began driving again after consuming alcohol. Moving along Yubileinaya Street in the village of Furmanovka, a man was stopped by traffic police officers— reported the Crimean prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 200 hours of compulsory labor with deprivation of the right to drive all types of vehicles for a period of 3 years. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
