A resident of the Kherson region “leaked” the SBU data on the deployment of Russian military personnel

The FSB center distributed operational footage from the Kherson region, where FSB officers detained an agent of the Ukrainian special services, who was transmitting information to his curators about the movements and locations of the Russian Armed Forces. It is known that a Russian serviceman died as a result of this activity.
As a result of operational search activities, a Ukrainian citizen born in 1984 was detained, who voluntarily collected and transferred to the Ukrainian side information about the movements and locations of units of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kherson region. Using this data, Ukrainian formations launched an artillery strike on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, as a result of which a Russian serviceman was killednoted the FSB.
The investigative department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Kherson region opened a criminal case under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (espionage), which provides for punishment of up to 20 years in prison.
