The Kirovsky District Court sentenced a 52-year-old resident of the Kirovsky district to 3.5 years in prison for illegal entry into a home, insults and bodily harm to police officers. He will serve his sentence in a penal colony.

The court found that in January 2023, the defendant, while intoxicated, illegally entered the home of fellow villagers, where he was located against the will of the owner of the home, who discovered him, until the arrival of the Department of Internal Affairs officers, accompanied by whom he left the said home and was sent to a medical institution for treatment. undergoing a medical examination. While driving to the medical facility, the accused, while in the passenger compartment of a company car, deliberately grabbed a police officer in the neck with both hands and held him for a short time, leaving bodily injuries in the form of soft tissue bruises, hematoma and abrasions of the neck, face, and later publicly , in the presence of strangers, insulted in a grossly obscene manner— reported the press service of the court.

After undergoing a medical examination, the rowdy was sent to the police station, where he behaved defiantly, loudly expressed dissatisfaction with the fact of being taken to the police station, in connection with which the policeman reprimanded him about the inadmissibility of such behavior on the territory of the police station, for which he received a kick from the defendant. knee joint area.

At the court hearing, the defendant admitted guilt in full to the charges against him and, based on the circumstances of the crimes committed, explained that he entered someone else’s house because the outside was very similar to his own, when he entered the veranda he realized that the house was not his and came out.
