I deceived a friend out of two and a half million rubles.
The Simferopol District Prosecutor’s Office approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 38-year-old local resident. The man is accused of committing crimes under Parts 2, 3, 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud).
According to investigators, the man approached his acquaintance with an offer to sell a plot of land, a home and a Volkswagen car. After a potential buyer transferred funds to him for future purchases, the man did not fulfill his obligations. In total, he stole more than 2.5 million rubles from his friend in this way.— reported the prosecutor’s office.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Simferopol District Court.
