A resident of the Sovetsky district of the Republic of Crimea was convicted of illegal sale of narcotic drugs

The Sovetsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea passed a verdict against a resident of the Sovetsky district for illegal sale of narcotic drugs (Part 1 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
As established by the court, a resident of the Sovetsky district of the Republic of Crimea on August 24, 2023 at 17:51 in an outbuilding located on the territory of household No. 2 on Severnaya street in the village of Chapaevka, Sovetsky district of the Republic of Crimea, in violation of Article 14, Article 23 Federal Law No. 3-F3 of January 8, 1998 “On Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances”, for money previously transferred to him by the buyer in the amount of 2500 rubles, he illegally sold a package with a substance of plant origin, which is the narcotic drug cannabis (marijuana) weighing 3 .10 g (in terms of dried substance)noted the press service of the court.
At the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted his guilt in committing the crime and repented of his crime.
According to the nature and degree of public danger, the crime committed belongs to the category of serious crimes.
The court did not establish any circumstances aggravating the defendant’s punishment.
Having comprehensively studied the case materials, taking into account the nature and degree of public danger of the act committed, the court found the Crimean citizen guilty of committing a crime and sentenced him to imprisonment for, and in accordance with Article 70 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, sentenced him to a final sentence of imprisonment for a term 4 years 3 days, serving the sentence in a general regime correctional colony.
The verdict did not enter into legal force.
