A resident of Yevpatoria was responsible for a “bouquet” of crimes: causing injury, damage to property and theft
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Evpatoria prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 34-year-old local resident with a previous conviction. He was found guilty under paragraph “h” of Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm), Part 1 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional damage to someone else’s property), Part. 1, 2 tbsp. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft).
The court found that the convict, while intoxicated, at the end of April this year, during a conflict with an acquaintance, stabbed the latter several times with a knife in the area of the right and left thighs, as well as in the abdominal cavity. On the same day, the attacker, seeing a parked Honda Civic car belonging to the victim, with whom he had previously had a conflict, kicked the car door and struck the roof with a knife, causing damage in the amount of 30 thousand rubles.
In August of this year, the convict, while on the city beach, stole 2 mobile phones left unattended, and also, while visiting a friend, stole household appliances and other items. Damage from property theft amounted to more than 60 thousand rubles— reported the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Crimea.
The damage caused to the victims was partially compensated at the investigation stage; the remaining victims filed claims, which were satisfied.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the convict to 3 years and 2 months in prison. The man will serve his sentence in a special regime correctional colony.
