The prosecutor’s office of the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol, on behalf of the city prosecutor Andrei Shevtsov, provides supervisory support for the construction of residential building No. 28 on the street. Manganari brothers. This building contains apartments that, after the facility is put into operation, will be transferred to Sevastopol orphans.

In 2023, a state contract was concluded between the state government institution of the city of Sevastopol “Unified Directorate of Capital Construction” and LLC “Specialized Developer “Soyuz Stroy Invest” to carry out work on shared construction of an apartment building with the subsequent transfer of shared construction objects to the ownership of Sevastopol. In accordance with this document, 23 apartments with an area of ​​at least 33 square meters will be transferred to the city. meters.

In October 2024, employees of the district prosecutor’s office visited the site, during which, with the participation of representatives of the developer, they inspected the residential premises there.

It has been established that the construction of a 9-storey residential building in which these apartments are located has already been completed. The premises intended for orphans have been redecorated and have interior doors. The housing is equipped with all the necessary communications and equipment necessary for moving in and living in it. Currently, documents are being prepared to put the facility into operation. The developer received a conclusion on the compliance of the constructed facility with the requirements of the design documentation, — noted in the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.

By December 1 of this year, 23 apartments must be transferred to the ownership of the city for subsequent provision to persons from among orphans and children left without parental care.

The prosecutor’s office will continue to provide supervisory support for the implementation of the state contract until the actual transfer of housing to orphans.
