A review of forces and means ensuring safety at water bodies took place in Sevastopol

On the eve of the swimming season in Sevastopol, a review of forces and assets, including equipment and emergency rescue equipment, took place as part of checking the readiness of emergency departments and services to act as intended.
The event took place on June 5 on the coast of Kruglaya Bay. The presented forces and means were assessed by representatives of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, the city Rescue Service and the Department of Public Safety, and volunteer organizations. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the city of Sevastopol demonstrated the watercraft and vehicles of the GIMS Center, vehicles and ATVs of the Specialized Squad, fire and rescue vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, equipment and equipment of diving units— note the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.
In total, during the 2024 swimming season, the safety of residents and guests of Sevastopol on the beaches will be ensured by about 200 rescue sailors. The coast will be patrolled. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia is ready to respond daily with 9 watercraft, 10 vehicles and 25 personnel. It is planned that the swimming season in Sevastopol will begin on June 15. The forces and means of the Sevastopol territorial subsystem of the RSChS are ready for action as intended.
