CrimeaPRESS reports:
On the territory of the Swallow’s Nest castle, in honor of Russia Day, a performance was held by re-enactors of a historical ballroom dance from the times of the Russian Empire.
Members of the historical dance club “Feriya” (branch No. 2 of the Nikitsky Cultural Center of the Yalta Centralized Club System) tried to convey the atmosphere of Russian balls of that time against the backdrop of a cultural heritage site of Federal significance — the famous “Swallow’s Nest” Palace-Castle.
The event was also attended by officers, sergeants and soldiers of military unit 6919 of the Russian Guard, specially invited to celebrate Russia Day.
The participants of the ball performed a polonaise, quadrille, Russian waltz, ballroom march, Russian quadrille cross and other historical dances.
