A scientific school will be held in Sevastopol. For students from friendly countries

CrimeaPRESS reports:

From November 21 to 26, the hero city will host about 50 students from Transnistria, the Middle East and the CIS countries. The main goal of the school is to demonstrate to the participants the capabilities and scientific potential of Sevastopol State University, which is the organizer of the project.

An educational and cultural program will be held for students, which will introduce foreigners to the history of Russia and Sevastopol. The educational program includes lectures and master classes where participants will discuss environmental problems of the Black Sea coast and the bioresource potential of the coastal area. A special part of the project will be the presentation of the capabilities of the research vessel of the Sevastopol State University “Pioneer-M”. All participants will gain experience working on special equipment installed on the vessel— reported the press service of Northern State University.

The International Youth Ecological Scientific School “Sevan” is included in the line of events of the winning project “I All-Russian Festival with International Participation “Sea of ​​Scientific Opportunities”, as well as for the purpose of implementing the federal project “Popularization of Science and Technology” of the state program of the Russian Federation “Scientific and Technological Development Russian Federation».

The grand opening of the school will take place on November 22.
