A section of a retaining wall collapsed on the “serpentine” from Sudak to the New World
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Traffic is limited.
On the mountainous, narrow, winding road from Sudak to the New World, traffic is partially limited. As reported by the Ministry of Transport of Crimea, on a 50-meter-long section, the retaining wall was destroyed due to the intensification of landslide processes.
The site is fenced and appropriate signs and indicators are installed. Work to eliminate the destruction will be completed before the start of the holiday season. We ask road users to be guided by this information when planning routessays in message Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea.
The road is open, but drivers need to be careful, obey the speed limit, and follow road signs and directions.
