A “Security Patrol” project for schoolchildren is being implemented in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
This year, the “Security Patrol” project was launched in Sevastopol, aimed at forming teams of activists in educational institutions of the city. Schoolchildren aged 12 to 17 years are taught the signs of impending emergencies, rules of behavior in emergency situations, prevention of dangerous consequences of an emergency, and first aid.
“Security Patrol” in modern conditions is a large and significant project for our children. It is very important that children have first aid skills and know how to act correctly in emergency situations. After all, the proverb says correctly: “If you have information, you control the situation.” I wish the effective development of the “Security Patrol” so that it becomes the most relevant and significant project to ensure comprehensive security of the educational process in Sevastopol— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the integrated security department of the Department of Education and Science of Sevastopol, Evgeniy Shumilov.
As part of the project, from November 8 to November 30, a series of master classes “Territory of Security” is being held in ten Sevastopol schools and gymnasiums. The main idea is that master classes on first aid, emergency response, terrorist and fire safety are conducted by high school students who have completed training and now pass on the knowledge to their classmates and younger children.
It is important to know what actions to take in the event of an emergency to protect your life and health, and to ensure the safety of people around you. And when children tell it and show it to their peers, the information is absorbed faster and betternotes the director of school No. 15, Svetlana Kurguz.
100 children in each educational institution become participants in master classes. The cadets of the P.S. Nakhimov ChVVMU help in carrying out the events.
Master classes “Territory of Security” are implemented by the autonomous non-profit organization “School of Future Commanders” of the regional branch of the Youth Army of Sevastopol and the regional resource center of the All-Russian project “Navigators of Childhood” in Sevastopol with the support of the “First Movement”.
