The prosecutor’s office of the Balaklava district of Sevastopol conducted an investigation following a complaint from a local resident about insult.
It was established that in August 2023, an employee of the State Unitary Enterprise Sevelektroavtotrans, in an Internet messenger, publicly insulted the applicant, who is his colleague, using rude and abusive language during correspondence in the general chat of the company’s employees. The district prosecutor’s office opened an administrative case under Part 2 of Art. against the man who made the insults. 5.61 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (insult committed in public using the Internet),” reported the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
Having examined the case materials, the magistrate of judicial district No. 1 of the Balaklava judicial district of Sevastopol fined the culprit 5 thousand rubles.
