A Sevastopol resident stole a mobile phone worth 60 thousand rubles. Found it, of course

It was established that at night in a company of young people who were on the street, an argument occurred against the backdrop of suddenly flaring up hostility. When a showdown between several friends began to escalate into a brawl, they were separated and everyone went their separate ways. After some time, one of the participants in the conflict, a 23-year-old young man, noticed the loss of his smartphone worth 60 thousand rubles and contacted the police.
As a result of operational search activities, criminal investigation officers of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district identified the suspect and detained him. He turned out to be a 25-year-old local resident, who, while separating the participants in the brawl, noticed the dropped mobile phone of one of them and stole it. The attacker sold the mobile phone to a random passer-by, and spent the illegal proceeds for his own needs. Soon, investigators established the identity of the buyer and seized the stolen phone, it will be returned to its rightful owner, the details of the story were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to five years.
