A Sevastopol resident suspected of drug trafficking and attempted sale of synthetics on an especially large scale was detained

Employees of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, in cooperation with the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Leninsky District, detained a suspect in illegal trafficking of the narcotic drug alpha-PVP on an especially large scale.
Earlier, investigators received information that a 26-year-old local resident may be involved in the sale of narcotic drugs in Sevastopol and may store them at his place of residence. As a result of operational search activities, the attacker was detained in Simferopol, where he rented an apartment to engage in criminal activities. During a search in the indicated apartment, police officers found: tablets that are the narcotic drug MDMA weighing about 1 gram, a white powdery substance that is methadone weighing more than 1 gram, as well as the narcotic drug alpha-PVP weighing more than 240 grams, which is an especially large size,” noted the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
In addition, it has now been established that the suspect is involved in the illegal sale of marijuana weighing about 1.3 kilograms in the Leninsky district, which is a large amount of the drug.
The investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district initiated criminal cases against the attacker under paragraph “g” of Part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Part 3 of Art. 30, part 5 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, he faces up to twenty years in prison.
