The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 8 years and 6 months of imprisonment, to be served in a maximum security correctional colony, and a fine of 350 thousand rubles.the message says.

It was established that in 2023, a man extorted money in bitcoins totaling more than 58 million rubles from a resident of Simferopol and a notary of the city district. A local resident left letters, including near the notary’s office. In December 2023, he planted an improvised explosive device under a drainpipe near the building where the notary’s office was located and remotely detonated it. The man’s illegal actions were stopped by internal affairs officers.
