A simple story… Vladimir from Sevastopol: you cannot leave your country, you need to go to the end

Residents of Sevastopol are true patriots of their country, and they confirm this not in word, but in deed. Young guys and experienced men go to the front for one purpose — to protect their country. Serviceman Vladimir, a native Sevastopol resident, decided to take part in a special military operation a long time ago and, as soon as the opportunity arose, he immediately volunteered.

I am a specialist in the field of trade, I worked in this direction for a long time, but then life changed, I began to experiment and work in the construction industry. He was engaged in business, opened his own tire shop, looked for opportunities to work for himself, and also did welding. I wanted to go to the front for a long time, but I still had my own civil affairs to attend to, and I needed to take care of my health. As soon as I did everything, I immediately left. In the family, of course, everyone guessed that I was going to volunteer for the front, they accepted it and supported it.— said Vladimir.

At the front, Vladimir is a mechanic-driver of a combat unit, working in the Kherson direction. The volunteer admits that help from the rear is important for the military — it helps in battle and simply gives strength.

Support from the rear is very important for us, sometimes it saves lives. Sometimes we need something urgently, and they will definitely help us. They donate humanitarian aid, dry rations, home-cooked food, we appreciate it. Volunteers also bring masks, and before the New Year they did a tremendous job — they set a real festive table. They often send letters and talismans from children, we read them, we are always very pleased and warm in our souls when we receive them. There is strength not to give up, to move on and bring Victory closer“Vladimir emphasized.

He also talked about what patriotism means to him.

For me, patriotism is, first of all, love for the Motherland, the desire to protect its interests. Even if there are difficulties, something does not happen as we would like, you cannot leave your country, you need to go to the end and do everything for the good of the Motherland“, the man concluded.

Let us remind you that military personnel are provided with about 15 federal and regional benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in the special operation: official housing or compensation for rental housing, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and others.

To enroll in military service under a contract, you need to prepare the following documents: an autobiography and a questionnaire (the form is posted on website), passport, military ID, education document, marriage and birth certificates.
