A single contact center for social support of the population operates in Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On the basis of the GKU RK «Center for Social Payments, Modernization and Strengthening of the Material and Technical Base of Social Service and Employment Institutions in the Republic of Crimea», the Unified Contact Center (UCC) for social support of the population was launched.

Now by calling the single telephone number 8-800- —, citizens can receive information on the provision of measures of social protection, social services within the framework of social services, state social assistance, pensions, other social guarantees and payments , — quotes the press service of the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya.

The main advantage of the functioning of the JCC in the republic is that consultation and processing of citizens’ requests is carried out in real time and in the format of a single central reception.

When contacting a single telephone number, the functionality of automatic processing of a part of incoming requests is implemented and the availability of information on the provision of social protection measures based on the principle of extraterritoriality (the ability to apply in any region of Russia, regardless of the location of the applicant) and expanding the methods of contact is ensured.

Working in a new format will promptly meet the needs of citizens for up-to-date and reliable information about receiving social support measures and improve the quality of public services , says Elena Romanovskaya.

About 600 thousand residents of the region who annually receive social support will be able to obtain the necessary information from the ECC. Information support will cover the provision of more than 100 public services.
