A Skoda from the Dzhankoy district was confiscated to the state. And the driver… “he’s a fool himself”

In the Dzhankoy district, a man’s car was confiscated for drunk driving. The driver was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle by a person in a state of intoxication subject to administrative punishment for a similar offense).

The court found that the man, having been brought to administrative responsibility for driving a vehicle while intoxicated, began driving a Skoda car again in October 2023 after drinking alcohol. Moving along Zheleznodorozhnaya Street in the city of Dzhankoy, the attacker was stopped by traffic police officials— the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea reported details.

The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to a fine of 200 thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to driving vehicles for a period of 1 year and 6 months. The Skoda car belonging to the convicted person was confiscated to the state.
