In the Krasnoperekopsk region, during welding work, sparks got into the passenger compartment. The fire engulfed the car instantly. The man tried to put out the flames, but to no avail. The fire spread to the roof of a residential building where the car was parked. This incident, or rather a big disaster, was reported today at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.
Later reporting of the incident led to disappointing consequences — the fire area was 500 square meters. Residents were left without a roof over their heads. A major fire could have been avoided! Citizens independently tried to put out the fire at the initial stagenoted the emergency department.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds:
— if there is a fire, immediately call 101 or 112. Losing time can cost the most precious thing — life;
— trust car repairs and maintenance to specialists;
— Buy a fire extinguisher for your car.
