A special fire regime continues to operate in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Horse raid of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea reminded that a special fire regime continues to operate on the territory of the peninsula. Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations monitor compliance with its requirements. Every day they carry out preventive measures and explain to citizens fire safety requirements, current prohibitions and fines provided for during this period.
This weekend, inspectors of the Simferopol Department of Supervision Activities conducted a joint mounted raid with volunteers from the Crimean Cossack District of the Black Sea Cossack Army. The patrol route covered five kilometers of the territory of the Simferopol reservoir. This area was not chosen by chance. Crimeans come here all year round to relax in nature.
During the raid, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations checked compliance with the rules of the special fire regime and the ban on lighting fires in forests and adjacent areas. Citizens were reminded that persons guilty of violating fire safety rules, depending on the nature of the violation and their consequences, bear disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability— reported the emergency department.
Rescuers actively cooperate with Cossacks and volunteers in preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergency situations. Volunteers provide horses for employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in order to jointly monitor the situation in hard-to-reach places in mountainous and forested areas. In addition, Cossacks, as part of voluntary fire brigades, conduct door-to-door inspections, explain the rules to the population, monitor fires, and also go out to extinguish fires.
