A storm is approaching Crimea: wind, rain, snow. Bad weather — for three days
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a storm warning about dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena in Crimea for January 25-27. The weather conditions will indeed be difficult: rain, sleet, snow, and very heavy precipitation in the central, southern, eastern regions and in the mountains. Sleet, sleet and icy conditions are expected. The strengthening of the southwest wind to 15-20 m/s will “add to the impressions”.
In these conditions, there is a high probability of emergencies associated with accidents at energy facilities, housing and communal services, an increase in the number of road accidents, disruptions in transport communications, obstruction of vehicle traffic on roads, long descents and ascents, dangerous turns and mountain passes. Possible flooding of areas— reported the emergency department.
In addition, there is a threat to the life and health of the population due to the possible fall of billboards, weakly reinforced structures, trees and possible broken power lines.
