The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a storm warning about dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena in Crimea for October 12-13. The peninsula will be flooded with rain.
According to the Crimean Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, due to the passage of a cold frontal section in the afternoon and until the end of the day on October 12, during the day on October 13, rains, in some places very heavy (30-50 mm), thunderstorms are expected in Crimea , hail, strengthening of southwestern winds changing to northwesterly 15-20 m/s— reported the emergency department.
It is clarified that on the rivers of Crimea, water levels are expected to rise by 0.5-1.5 m, but without reaching dangerous levels.
