A strict ban on visiting forests has been introduced in Crimea. For now — until June 26

Due to the high and extremely high fire danger, a ban on visiting forests was introduced in Crimea from June 6 to June 26.
At the moment, the storm warning for extreme fire danger in the Republic of Crimea continues to be in effect. From June 7 to 11, extreme fire danger will remain in the southern and eastern regions of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol; extreme fire danger is expected in the central regions of the peninsula,” noted the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
The highest fire hazard class is established in the urban district of Yalta and the Belogorsk region. 4th grade — in Alushta, Simferopol, Simferopol and Bakhchisarai regions. The rest of the Republic’s territory has a fire danger class of 3.
We also remind you that from April 17, a special fire regime was introduced on the peninsula.
The Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Crimea warns:
— passage and passage into forested areas is permitted only along tourist routes in compliance with fire safety rules;
— do not light fires;
— do not throw unextinguished cigarette butts and matches;
— do not carry out fire hazardous work near forested areas;
— Mow dry vegetation promptly.
Remember, with fire danger class 5, a landscape fire can only be localized, but it is almost impossible to eliminate it. This year in the Republic of Crimea there have already been 11 natural fires in mountainous forest areas.
Persons guilty of violating fire safety rules, depending on the nature of the violation and their consequences, bear disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability.the emergency department warned.
