CrimeaPRESS reports:

On May 30, the Soyuz 2.1a launch vehicle launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, on the body of which the symbols of the anniversary year of the Russian student teams are placed, and in the Progress MS-27 transport cargo ship the flag of the anniversary year of the RSO went to the ISS. On Cosmonautics Day, April 12, Russian student teams, with the support of the Roscosmos state corporation, announced the start of an educational project, the finalists of which received the right to participate in a trip to the launch of the Soyuz 2.1a launch vehicle from the Baikonur cosmodrome. The finalists were 15 representatives of the movement, including Ilya Konyaev, a member of student groups in Sevastopol.

In the anniversary year, Russian student teams will truly be able to “reach for the stars”, because for the first time the flag of the movement will be sent into space, and the logo of the anniversary year will be printed on the body of the launch vehicle. I am sincerely glad that Sevastopol youth have the opportunity to become part of a historical event– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the youth affairs department Marina Slonchenko.

During the visit to Baikonur, the participants of the educational project visited iconic places of the city, the launch site, and the cosmodrome museum. As part of the project program, a working meeting was held between representatives of Russian student groups and the administration of the city of Baikonur, which resulted in the signing of an agreement between the parties. The cooperation agreement implies the creation of a regional headquarters of student teams at Baikonur, carrying out joint work projects and events.

I want to thank the Russian student teams, the youth affairs department of the city of Sevastopol, Roscosmos and the student teams of Sevastopol for the opportunity to touch the creation of history. I am filled with pride for the organization, because launching a flag into space is simply fantasticnotes Ilya Konyaev.

In 2024, student brigades celebrate the 65th anniversary of the birth of the movement and the 20th anniversary of the creation of the modern history of student brigades. The anniversary year will end with an All-Russian rally, which will be held in Moscow in the fall and will bring together more than 12,500 movement participants.

When we say that the possibilities of RSO are endless, we are not kidding. Turn your dreams into reality together with student teams of Sevastopolsays Deputy Chairman of the Public Chamber of Sevastopol and founder of student groups of Sevastopol Denis Kondratyev.

Over the 65 years of the movement’s existence, more than 20 million people have attended the school of student groups. These are students and schoolchildren who gained their first work experience, made new acquaintances and made a significant contribution to the development of the country.
