A student from Sevastopol was 10 days under arrest for a public demonstration of Nazi symbols

Employees of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol revealed a page on a social network, on which Nazi attributes and symbolism were publicly demonstrated.
As a result of the measures, the investigators established the identity of the page owner. It turned out to be a 20-year-old student of one of the local universities. In relation to the detainee, the police drawn up a protocol on an administrative offense provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Propaganda or public demonstration of Nazi attributes or symbols, or attributes or symbols of extremist organizations, or other attributes or symbols, propaganda or public demonstration of which are prohibited by federal laws,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.
Having examined the materials submitted by police officers, the Leninsky District Court decided to impose a punishment in the form of an administrative arrest for a period of 10 days.
