The issues of the start of the children’s summer health campaign were discussed at a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on the organization of recreation and rehabilitation of children in the Republic of Crimea chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya with the participation of heads of administrations of cities and regions of the Republic of Crimea.
The summer wellness campaign started on June 1st. It runs normally. More than 4 thousand Crimean children and almost a thousand children from other regions of the Russian Federation have a rest in country camps— quotes the press service of the Deputy Prime Minister.
Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea Oksana Krasnikova, during her report at the commission meeting, said that 23 out-of-town recreation and health camps have started work, 6 more are starting to work from 2 shifts. From May 27 to June 6, 249 day camps are open. In addition, 42 more camps will be opened. More than 24,000 children will receive recreation and health services at their base.
In the summer period, it is planned to operate 162 labor teams of high school students, covering more than 3 thousand teenagers, the Employment Center of the Republic of Crimea plans to employ about 1 thousand minors with the conclusion of labor contracts.
Elena Romanovskaya focused the attention of representatives of the administrations of the city of Simferopol and the Saki region on the failure to achieve the planned targets for the number of children covered by recreation and rehabilitation in day camps. These municipalities were instructed to revise plans for the improvement of children in 2023 by June 20 in order to ensure maximum coverage of children with organized recreation.
The head of the Interregional Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol, Natalya Penkovskaya, noted that when hiring employees in the organization of children’s recreation and their health improvement, a survey is carried out for the presence of viral intestinal infections (roto-, noro-, astroviruses) of food unit workers in 3 days and persons operating the water supply facilities of health organizations. In total, 1504 employees of catering departments were examined for roto-, noro-, astro viruses, 1510 employees were immunized against hepatitis A, 1446 people were immunized against shigillosis. In order to prevent infections transmitted by ticks, contracts were concluded for acaricidal treatment (100%), treatment and quality control were carried out in all health organizations before the arrival of children.
Andrey Ratushny, Deputy Head of the Department for Supervisory Activities and Preventive Work of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea, said that the elimination of identified violations of fire safety requirements in recreation and recreation organizations is carried out as planned.
Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Crimea Lyudmila Oleinik and Igor Golovko, head of the technical supervision department of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, reported on the readiness of transport infrastructure facilities to organize the transportation of organized groups of children.
At the railway stations of Simferopol, Kerch, Feodosiya, Dzhankoy, Yevpatoria, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Crimean Railway» organized «green corridors» on a permanent basis for the mandatory isolation of organized groups of children in case of their arrival / departure to / from the Republic of Crimea (by allocating special waiting and landing areas /disembarkation of groups of children of individual personnel of the transport infrastructure). The information on business entities that carry out transportation of organized groups of children on the territory of the Republic of Crimea on an ongoing basis has also been updated.
It is necessary to take all measures to make the rest of children interesting, active and filled with vivid emotions. Our goal is to organize not only high-quality, but also safe summer holidays for children. And since organized forms of vacations make it possible to ensure it in the first place, one should strive to cover children with them as much as possible. We must pay special attention to children in need of special protection: children of SVO participants, children from large and low-income families, children with disabilities— notes the Vice-premier when summing up the results of the commission’s meeting.
